Whistlestop at Gatwick Airport's North Terminal Whistlestop Foods Proteus was part of the Whistlestop development team since the start of it's strategy to concentrate on opening stores on prime transit location sites. This involved the implementation of more than 33 fitting out projects for Whistlestop in the South of England including the major London airport terminals operated by BAA and many of the main line London stations operated by Network Rail. One of these projects involved all three of the Group companies working together to acquire, construct and fit out a Proteus glazed retail unit for Whistlestop on Waterloo Station as part of a significant reconfiguration of the station concourse which involved the installation of a number of other Proteus retail units for Network Rail. Proteus subsequently arranged the sale of the Whistlestop business to Select Service Partner, and continues in its project management role.
