The Jewellers Shop at Monument Underground Station in London London Transport Proteus is one of London Transport Property’s approved professional consultants. We act for retailers who operate on London Transport stations and are familiar with the procedures required to gain London Underground consents for fitting out. We are particularly experienced in the procedures that must be followed during fitting out works on Section 12 stations. This work also involves close consultation with our agency business in order to advise clients on services’ feasibility (electricity, drainage, air conditioning and the like) in the special environments that underground stations can present. This is a challenging environment in which to work due to the combination of site constraints, Health & Safety issues and programming, with special care being taken to avoid any disruption to the normal operation of a particular station. We believe that our ability to resolve such constraints means that Proteus is extremely well qualified to undertake and manage retail projects under any circumstances. Nicholas Stobbs was involved in the development of London Transport Property’s Tenants’ Handbook, which gives advice to prospective tenants on London Underground requirements.
